Luminescent radicals are gathering constant attention as a new class of luminescent materials due to the ground and excited state doublet character. In their Research Article (e202302550), Ken Albrecht co-workers report carbazole dendronized tris(2,4,6-trichlorophenyl)methyl (TTM) radical. Dendron modification increases photostability photoluminescence quantum yield up 63 % in cyclohexane. The image shows red raspberry (TTM radical) protected from sunshine by bush (dendron).
